Don't try this found out from a member when I did this on Bimmerpost must be a glitch....

If your on your cell and do a "appreciate" you hit the button and nothing changes visually, but each time you tap the appreciate the posters reputation goes up each time, and he gets all the appreciates in his in box, AS MANY AS you push, lol.

because the appreciate button is the answer to everything. i enjoy simulated happiness. w/o up-votes, my life would be less fulfilling.

Probably because nobody appreciates you. And even the artificial mashing of the appreciate button couldn't save you from that reality.

No it has a + , - affect. Even if you don't see a change right away, clicking appreciate will give the poster a +1. If you click again it will simply take away the rep point you just gave him.. Click again and you will give him the point back. You can only appreciate a post one time. So clicking the button repeatedly won't give a poster any extra rep points past the one you originally gave him..

Cool glitch, probably want to tag a mod so they can fix it. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the appreciate button should be used for helpful members that contribute to the community. Not just a facebook "likes" competition.
