I know of people who have. It's a very aggressive pad and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have significant experience with a polisher and own a paint thickness gauge

I've tried using them with a Porter Cable DA polisher and it did not work for me on factory paint, with Meguiars M100/M105. I wasn't willing to risk it with a rotary. It may work better for you with a respray.

I've used it and it's a game changing product. I used it on my B8 Audi S4 which had a terrible (and I mean TERRIBLE) respray on the hood. If you look at the pics in the link, there was ZERO gloss on the areas where it was resprayed. I used it with a Griot's Garage DA and Menzerna compounds (products I used in the link). It completely restored the gloss and ended up looking better than the factory sprayed areas of the car. Front fender right next to the door which had factory paint and the front fenders ended up looking better which made me consider using these pads on the doors also.

As other have said though, it's aggressive so use a paint thickness gauge beforehand. But resprays usually end up being pretty thick.
