Trunk lid trim noises

After 3 visits to my BMW dealer, my trunk lid trim is still making cracking noises.

When I look at the side trim, there is an opening of roughly 1 cm between the trim and the lid (see photo). Can someone have a look at their own X5 to see if you have the same problem ?

Does anybody know how to remove the trim. I know it works with clips, but usually there is specific procedure or tool to detach it without breaking the clips or the part.

I do not have this gap, however it took me 2 visits to address this issue. Second time I requested tech to sit next to me to make sure they hear it. According to repair description they realigned the latches, lubricated with silicone all rubber trim.
