What is this thing called?

In the rear seats of my e90, I believe this has something to do with child seats? Anyways, whatever this little thing is, it's missing on one of my seats and is lost. Is it possible to order one from somewhere and replace it?

That's just a button to show where the LATCH system buckle point is
Nothing on RealOEM. Probably comes with the seat

Maybe call up a junk yard or see if someone will part out a rear seat

Thanks, it looks bad that it's missing, there is just a hole there in the seat. Any idea how to get and install a new one? I tried searching but just don't know what to call it so no luck in searching ebay, etc..

I looked on ECS, RealOEM, Amazon etc and no luck.
The good news is that you're not the first person to look for one lol.
The bad news is that no one else could find it either. One person went to the dealer with no luck.

Best place is a junk yard or salvage car

Oh and if you pop your lower seat off, it might be sitting under your seat. Quick and easy to check. It's amazing how many things can fall in those big holes where the LATCH point covers are.

That is the "no passengers here while on the track" sign.
