Man that's cheap...I should pick it up and turn that into a track car and keep my current one as a daily driver.

It's not. I called on this car. Clean, one-owner, no accidents. I checked the CarFox. All good there too. The guy even had a PPI done at Braman BMW. The car checks out.
The seller seems a little distressed and afraid that the bearings might go. He just wants to avoid the potential headache. Someone should jump on this. |

I've seen several 2008s in that price range. Infiniti of Baton Rouge has a E93 with under 100K listed for $25K and it's been sitting for a couple of months. A couple months ago there was a 2008 in Houston at a BMW dealer with 200,000 miles listed at $16K. I think the 2008 Manual cars are going to depreciate a bit faster and be a harder sell than the newer cars as the clutches are a bit more expensive to change. CCC also narrows the appeal of a 2008 for some people. Condition is also going to be a huge factor - at that age you are going to find some examples with dents and scratches and peeling clear and others that look better than when they left the factory. Blue book pricing doesn't reflect either extreme well. I'd like the resale to stay high forever so I don't take a 5K depreciation hit each year I own the car, but I don't expect that to happen.

Nice. I have been shopping for a car for a while and have seen the 08's in various configurations and conditions with 80-120K miles go for the middle to upper 20's regularly. Depends on the area of my search radius and the type of dealership that is selling. I have seen 50K miles 2011's go for low to middle 30's fully loaded. Just trying to narrow it down to a couple preferred options.

I truly think that when its all said and done it will go back up a bit. To a lot of people this is the last true M car.
