Anybody here buy my old '11 e92 M3 from Ford of Murfreesboro?
And if not, is there a way to find the buyer? Ford won't disclose.
Reason is I'd like to sell my Akra Evo exhaust and if it goes back on that car I can also give the owner the Evolve tune. |

That's a nice gesture!
What'd you trade it in for?

Ford Raptor.
I love the truck but after a few months I needed to get back into a car. So I also added a 2015 GTR to the garage. 5 years ago I vowed not to buy another car under 300 hp. After the M3 that changed to 400 hp. Now, with 545 hp I've raised that bar again. Unfortunately, while the GTR is easy to mod and tune for another 100 to 150 hp, it absolutely voids the drive train warranty. I wish Dinan worked with Nissan. BTW, the person who bought my car is named Kris K. and I think they live in Sterling, VA. |

The GTR is fantastic. The truck is also fun. The best way to describe it is liberating. In that thing I still have over 400 hp and I don't give a damn about curbs or potholes. It's a Ruby red special edition and it easily gets as many compliments as the GTR too.

Almost bought yours, but the current owner got to it just before me, so I got my space gray out of Washington state shortly afterward.

This topic is hilarious and thought provoking because I have obsessed about this very thing for over a year now.

Just curious…was your old car the same one that was…involved in an accident?

While the repair wasn't up to my standards, it passed their appraiser's eye and it would be hard to see the evidence that anything was done. But, to be fair, I did do a paint correction on my GTR before it even had 40 miles on the odometer. Last edited by 1fastdoc; 05-31-2015 at 08:50 PM.. |
