Can I use this oil?
Serious question, I really don't know.

I bought the oil brand new from my authorized BmW dealership and I'm not looking to replace my diff oil a year after.

Diff fluid is based on miles once in the diff. You should be good to go.

That sucks, always remember to check the date the fluid was manufactured. I can see dealers always trying to get rid of their old stock. You should be good to go. Moisture can slowly penetrate into the bottle, but not into your differential casing. It's better to store fluid in the differential than on the shelf!

Yeah it does.

Cool part on everything is, after a call dealer is willing to take the old oil shelfs back and give me new one's plus an xx% discount on my next purchase
Now What does this tell our average thread reader?
