Those damn turkeys are HUGE! I saw one crossing the road the other day. Sucks about your ride. Hope they get it good as new.

Now, if you had the M-performance carbon fiber mirror cap, it would have completely saved you

damn that sucks , at least its only the mirror and a minor dent ! that being said must have been a strange turn of events to have the turkey make contact with for the most part only your mirror lol!

As I clicked on this thread, couple things came to mind. You were actually talking about a wild turkey, or someone threw a bottle of Wild Turkey at your car.

One of them bastids did a sh!t-ton of damage to a buddy's 7 series. He came down on the leading edge of the roof and put a crater sized dent in it.

Glad you're ok OP. Could have been much worse

Happened to my e90. The side mirror alone was 1k. These cars are not cheap.

In SI NY there is a big population there. Dam near take over a road and an aggressive bird. If you look at them the wrong way they'll chase you or peck at your car. Next time I'll throw a can of cranberry source right in the middle of the flock.
