Oil pan bolt
So I went to change my oil today and when I went to remove the bolt it just kept turning. The bolt itself is not stripped but it just keeps spinning and does not loosen or tighten. Any ideas?

It happened to me. Turned out that my oil pan threads were stripped. My Indy shop did manage to get the bolt out and was able to retap the threads. Way more cheaper than replacing the oil pan!

Not a big deal. Get the pan remove the 1,000 bolts around the perimeter of the pan. Get the drain bolt out by applying some force on the inside of the pan and at the same time trying to unscrew the bolt. With luck it should be out in no time. Get a repair kit and fix the thread. If it's too bad or if you don't want to go this way then get a used or new pan.
