That's what I read as well but I thought the designs were different since other brands offer 2 versions depending on the motor you have. Wonder if anyone with n55 (with this fmic) can confirm.

Edit. I spoke to Sean at FORGE the earlier version was N54 specific. When the N55 came out they revised the IC and it fits both the N54 and N55
