Best place to get an oil filter kit?

Does anyone know? I find it that they seem well-priced through ECSTuning or Turner, until they charge $8+ for shipping, on a small weightless package. Obviously, $8 is nothing to complain about, but if anyone is offering free shipping without requiring a total of $200+, I'd rather take advantage of that.

Thanks!

I toil over the same questions when I order oil change kits, basically, you have to research this, as each dealer charges different pricing for each part and shipping rates. I've learned that there is no single dealer that is one size fits all for all orders, it all depends on what you buy. Here is a list of cheap dealers.

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1075333

Most places charge flat rate $10 for shipping for orders under $200

Getbmwparts has free shipping over $200 but they are not the cheapest for parts. Most recently, the cheapest dealer for me has been bmw-oem-parts with flat rate shipping, but I had to order a 4 oil change kits.

Granted, this is an option, but how much will I be overpaying at the dealer?

I'm guessing about $10, retail is about $26, online sells between $13 and $20...do you need it now? Why not order and 4 kits today and have it delivered by next weekend?

Bu t anyways I've helped as much as I can by giving you the link, it's all up to you

Sounds like a good idea...it's not urgent as I do half-way oil changes, and never wait for the 15k interval. Thanks!
