BAV sound

Anyone have any experience with these guys? Seems like a true plug and play system. So far their customer service has been great and very knowledgable. Has anyone installed and listened to their system yet? I have a vert so for some reason I don't get the option for the underseat sub or rear panel mids and tweeters for some reason.

Many, many years ago with my E39 M5, but not with this platform. Good company.

yes,i got their speaker upgrade a few years ago to replace my base hifi system, which has terrible speakers.it replaced all but the underseat subs.the speakers are very well made, and sound a lot better than the crappy oem ones. it was a worthwhile improvement,my bmw mechanic friend put them in and said it was very easy, but he can pop off door panels in his sleep.

Thanks for the info. I think Ill pull the trigger on these. Ive been looking into a lot of exterior mods for the summer and thought I should spend a little on the interior. Sounds like they have an underseat sub that will be available in June. I watched the video tutorial for the install and seemed pretty straightforward. Unfortunately they don't offer the rear speakers/tweeter for the vert.

I've seen some posts that say if you upgrade the amp the speaker system is fine. Costs less and is worth considering.

I went full boat BSW upgrade on my E38, all the speakers and the Ghost Subwoofer. So here is my two cents. The E38 had the premium sound system with DSP, and it was eh. After I did the upgrade it sounds amazing. Now this system would be different then you would put in an E9X, especially since the ghost sub option is a 10" box with its own seperate amp. That being said it was a great upgrade that was really easy to do.
