Yes, it's a very expensive retrofit and a tedious task because you'll need an entirely new dash trim meant for HUD placement.

There is a workshop here in Singapore that did it for a few F10 cars without the need for a new dashboard. They took measurements and cut out the necessary hole from your existing dashboard. The link is HERE

Maybe you could show your local workshop the link I've included and see what they can do eh!? Good luck!

These guys are the retrofits kings, literally. I've seen their work before. For him to find someone in Peru similar to their ability will not be an easy task I gather.

As I was saying, it's very expensive, and this thread talks about all the details: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=787973. If you recall, wdimagineer said he was an investor/adviser to a company that was doing an HUD. Well, I'm 100% positive it's this company: https://www.navdy.com/. You can pre-order and wait for them. It will be much easier.

What about something like this instead?

It's apparently original BMW and the same technology is found in the Mini as well!

Here's another picture:

I'm not sure if the video link will work, but here it is:

[u2b]http://youtu.be/y9LUnLeLSgA[/u2b]

Urgh!! Looks like the video link function is not working - or I'm not doing it right.

Maybe you could just try clicking on http://youtu.be/y9LUnLeLSgA and see if it works

Disclaimer - I've no vested interest in the companies that either make this device nor install them. I'm just trying to share the passion

I gotta give them credit for being adventurous - I mean, they are retro-fitting things to cars that cost in excess of US$250K!
