PSL Database for HUD
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/t...p_display.html
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/t...nt_vision.html What PSL database in HUD does the F15 use? I run EL and their database is NAVTEQ which is painfully slow to update. I see posts like this one frequently: http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=12437 I thought the EL database had problems but my initial impression of the BMW PSL database is that it is more often wrong than NAVTEQ (use by EL). I know how to submit changes to NAVTEQ but who does BMW use and how can we submit changes?

I still have this question noticing this morning that the database used by BMW still has it wrong on highways were there have not been any recent changes.
If I knew what vendor they used then I could submit corrections.

I know the map, traffic, and hazard information on the navi come from Inrix, Inc., who supplies the data to many car manufacturers' navi systems. I know this because there was a road closure map sign that once appeared on the way to may home, which was correct, but it never went a away after weeks. I contacted Inrix, they were responsive, and kept me updated on the resolution process about every two days. It was a glitch which unbeknown to them affected other places as well. I bet they supply the speed limit data as well.
http://inrix.com I am sorry I did not respond to your post from January, which I had seen, but I didn't know what PSL stood for.....having clicked on the links this time, I got it.
