What I-Drive upgrades are available for me?

I have a 2009 E93; I know the I-Drive is updated from the 2008 version but I am fairly clueless beyond that but I did want to explore what I can do to make the I-drive more compatible for new apps, etc. I can look into costs later, but what potential upgrades could I look into or what upgrades are not possible due to the age of the I-drive? Would the upgrades require a re-flash of my tune? Thanks!

To get the various apps you will have to upgrade to the combox. There are various vendors who offer the upgrade, but it's not cheap...
