Anyone use the timed fan option ? If so

Greetings,

I have tried to set the time to run the fan in the M3 prior to me getting in it - like 20 minutes prior to my arrival. And I can't seem to get it to do it. I have read the owners manual and gone through the page on the Nav screen which presents the options for enabling it. Does anyone have an easier way to do this ?
