Cheapest Way To Send Money Internationally?

what is the cheapest way to send money internationally (thailand)? im trying to send 50,000 baht ($1,620), i called my bank and it is $50 and western union wire transfer is $94 both to have funds wired into my friend's bank account in thailand.

i would paypal but he doesn't have an account and i don't want to mail him a money order/check cause it is thailand and their mail system is sketchy. are there any other options available? help much appreciated, thanks.

how much are you trying to send? wire transfer is probably the best, cheapest, and safest option

Money Gram? Ive used them sending money to the philippines but i'm not sure bout thailand though.
