Best AGP GPU?
what is the best agp video card i can get now days ? i know it is old school but instead of throwing away a pc, i want to just upgrade the video card and hard drive and use it as a second storage/movie pc with alittle star craft 2 on the side. it currently has a
ATI X850 XT PE: Core Clock: 540 MHz Memory GDDR3: 256 MB Memory Clock: 1180 MHz Pixel Pipeline: 16 Core: R481

I wouldnt spend more than $50 on an AGP card, and the performance is crap compared to PCI-E. I think the X850 was the last of the ATI before they went to PCI-E. Card must be 5 years old now!

i mean it just amazes me at how fast technology evolved.
my pc cost me about $3k which i built myself about 5 years ago using all the kick ass parts for its time such as 3.2ghz p4, x850 xt pe ($500 video card at the time, now for $500 these video cards are insane), 500gb hd, 2gb ram, koolance, etc. i just don't want to throw it out lol, i believe it still has alittle life in it with a new agp video card maybe 2-3 more years then i will have to build an entire new system again ...

AGP is so... three years ago?
