noob here! Watch out!!! lol
Hey, guys! I just want to start of by saying this site was recommended by one of your moderators. Not sure what his screen name is on here, but his first name is Mike and he drives a graphite 135i.
Anyway, onto who I am and why I am here. My name is Daniel McCormack. I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico and I am here is because my Parents just picked up there new 135i! :roundel: My parents and I race in our local region SCCA events. My father owns a 1999 Cosmos Black E36 M3 and a Miata. He races his miata in the E-stock class and I raced his M3 in the B-stock class this past season and took the championship for B-stock this year! :headbang: Well, my mother used to own a 96 E36 328is, but we sold it to make room for her new 135i. I forsee me and my father driving it more than her though. Muahahahaha We actually took European delivery of the car at the BMW Welt in Munich about a month and a half ago. We drove that around germany for 2 weeks and I put 2 laps around the Nurburgring in the new car!! My personal car is a 1991 Nissan 300Zx Twin Turbo. Its no slouch by anymeans, but my set-up makes it terrible for SCCA. It makes some nasty 40mph roll-ons though! Our cars are as fallows. Father: 99 Cosmos Black E36 M3 - K&N drop in filter and UUC catback. 94 Jet Black Miata - K&N drop in filter, KYB ajustable schocks Mother: 2008 Saphire Black, black leather and aluminum trim 135i - Stock 1999 BSPL Miata - KYB adjustables, CAI, racingbeat header, cat-back, magnaflow muffler. Me: 1990 naturally aspirated 300ZX - intake 1991 300ZX Twin Turbo - Z1 intake, Z1 Hard Pipes, Z1 GT600R ballbearing turbos (GT2560R), Z1 2.5 split flange downpipes, Z1 catless midpipes, GReddy EVO-II catback, Z1 ECU, Blitz SBC-iD Spec R boost controller, Custom twin intakes, APEXi SAFC-2, RPS MAX clutch, RPS 12 lb segmented flywheel, Z1 5 inch core SMIC's. I will be dynoing my Z soon and When its tuned, It should be right around 500WHP on 17psi and pump gas and hopefully close to 600WHP on 24psi and some Q-16 race gas! I used to work for BMW as Technician at Sandia BMW here in albuquerque. I now work for a friend of mine and owner of SOLID Technology Performance. We have produced New Mexicos fastest LS1, New Mexicos fastest Supra, New Mexicos fastest SRT-4, and New Mexicos fastest RSX Type-S. We have not messed with any BMW's yet, but we will see if things change, lol. http://www.solid-technology.com/ Anyway, I registered to help me learn more about our 135 and meet other people and see what sort of things they do to their cars and so on. Looks like a cool place! Here are some pics! My Z: Under Construction Finished My Mothers old 328is: Fathers M3: I took these at an old trainyard Sorry about all the Photos. I go photo crazy sometimes lol. I will post some pics of the 135i when I take some good ones! Bye for now!

Welcome to 1ADDICTS. You'll find plenty of cordiality around here. As it turns out, there are quite a few 3-Series folk playing in this sandbox. I do believe you would be referring to mikeo, the fellow who suggested our little sanctuary.
