Crank, no start issue

Hey everybody, i recently purchased a manual 00 528it. Car cranks but wont start, it will start if something is sprayed in the intake, so i replaced the fuel pump, checked all the fuses everything looks good, i even added a ground strap just in case there was a bad ground. I also switched the fuel relay with a different one. When i push in the valve on the fuel rail gas sprays out.

I plugged in a 20 pin and pulled the codes, it came back as P1421/1423 (secondary air system bank 1/2) and P0101 (Maf). There are three tiny vacuum lines at the back of the engine (one goes on top of fuel rail to under the front of the intake, the second goes under the back of the intake and the third goes to the smog check valve by the exhaust) it looks like they are supposed to hook into something.

So needless to say im stumped where to go next. Any help would be appreciated as i pretty much got somebodys project and im trying to get it all sorted out. Thanks in advance
