First of all, I would like to apologize to Tesla Cybertruck owners. Y’all have been through enough! You can’t go anywhere without people harassing you, the carwash could brick your truck, the accelerator pedal is faulty, etc. Now on top of all that, Raccoons are attracted to the Tesla Cybertruck.

It’s an unspoken fact that raccoons are the undisputed connoisseurs of all things luxurious and fine. These furry sophisticates don’t just rummage... they curate. And when they lay their glittering eyes on a Cybertruck, their impeccable instincts scream, “This is the vault of opulence!” After all, anyone bold enough to drive a Cybertruck clearly possesses a refined palate for the creme de la creme of life’s offerings. Naturally, our little tastemakers rightfully assume that within it lies nothing less than the ultimate jackpot. Cybertruck owners should be honored to have been chosen by these discerning critters!

Maybe C/Truck owners can invest in a window or bumper sticker that states ''No tools or sandwiches are left in this vehicle overnight'' and the hungry visitors will pass right on by

My truck friend told me. You can't call that a truck. That's an insult to trucks

My other truck friend told me. He remember when Ridgeline was released...People said "Could you make it any uglier?"... and Tesla accepted the challenge

I think it is much simpler than that — the raccoons are mistaking the Cybertruck for a dumpster.

Then park one of them sumbishes up in the mountains and set a video recorder up. Bears should maul it.
We had slide locks...just pissed em off and they'd flip it on a side

Because so many raccoons who live in the woods actually see a dumpster.

Cybertrucks seem to be city vehicles for urban cowboys. Lots of dumpsters in cities, and lots of raccoons getting into trash. We had racoons in Washington, DC when I was a kid and with few predators and plenty of trash their numbers have grown. Deer as well.

Right, the joke is the city raccoons see dumpsters and the country raccoons don't...

Many garages don't want to accept EV's with a problem in the drivetrain that's usually complex, tv presenter and expert mechanic Ed China explains why.

Interesting he didn't check the SOH of the battery prior to replacing the contactor unit. Perhaps the welded positive contactor prevents a SOH check. That would suck for an owner to pay a few thousands of dollars to fix the contactor then only to find out the battery is at 70% SOH.

Perhaps EV are not as simple and less expensive to manufacture and repair than an ICEV equivalent.

Tesla $450ish a share.
He is literally jumping up and down in his Occupy Mars t-shirt on a shekel mountain.
Peeking at a half a trilsky net worth.

...didn't Creepster Gates short Tesla in a big way?

The consequences of hydrogen failures are significantly more sudden and dangerous. A big no effing thank you from this EV driver.

Back in the day when I was also an EV hater I thought hydrogen was the obvious choice. This is before EVs became as popular as they are now and it just seemed like the easiest transition since we already have gas stations... just add hydrogen... easy peasy.

Then I got an EV and charge at home... I don't care about any of the other downsides of hydrogen (which there are a lot)... the fact I can't fill up my hydrogen car at home is reason enough for me to skip it.

Id rather instantly explode to death than burn to death. It's a great point though. Can't wait until 3rd parties are trying to save a buck and cars start exploding. As if worrying about other drivers wasn't already bad enough I suspect you can make them quite safe since they can be packaged very small. I don't see how we are suddenly going to have hydrogen fuel cell infrastructure. This seems like something that dealerships would have to initially support.

Also hydrogen isn’t exactly cheap. I have a coworker with mirai. It costs 150-200 to fill up, but Toyota currently covers that cost during the lease. Roughly 300 miles of range according to her. The worst part is there was a hydrogen station in near that person’s house. It since closed and now that person has to drive much further just to fill up.
