Assetto Corsa for PC: Online/Multiplayer
I rent a 16 slot AC server. I started renting it (which seemed much easier than setting up one on my PC) so a friend and I could be on the same track at the same time. He began to feel uncompetitive against others so now he just does single player. And I sometimes get bored with hotlapping and racing against AI.
If there is anyone here (or up to 15 of you) that would like to sim on a U.S. server where you have an in with the admin and can request tracks/cars and otherwise have a say in what goes on, I'd be glad to oblige. If you just want to hop on and hotlap in Practice mode, I'm game. If you'd rather Qualify and Race, I'm also game. Right now, I have it set up to run 45-minute Practice sessions and I change the track most every morning. But I'm open to configuring it another way. I'm just really looking for some real human competition. |

I used to run the hell out of AC back when it originally released but haven't played it in some time. I'm sure a lot has been improved since I was last on it. I may be interested in re-installing it and setting up my sim equipment again (some of it I sold ). A lack of time will be the only thing keeping me very active.

It's funny, since buying my M4, I have spent more time in AC recently. So much so that I upgraded the steering wheel, I usually will play an AC Mod called no-hesi, or I will load up Nordschleife and take a lap in the G83.
Ill jump into your server sometime. I am usually gaming between 7-10PM, but not always. What times are you usually playing? |

I'm all over the map because my schedule is so varied. Sometimes mornings, sometimes afternoons, sometimes evenings. Sometimes all three. But if this progresses into something more structured and organized, I'll be there regardless.

I have been pretty impressed with it. I downloaded it last year while waiting for delivery. I have a reverb G2 and was in such a bad state of "I want it now" that I used VR to appease my desire. At the time I didn't know or care if it matched in performance. Since delivery and 14,000 miles, I would agree it matches. Now when I jump in and play it's appeasing my desire to drive a G8X around Nordschleife. One day maybe....

Thanks for the links! Big ACC and AC fan here.
I've been practicing Buttonwillow CW1 in AC to prepare for a real track day w/ the BMWCCA this weekend. |
