Neighbors and our daughter who just moved back with her family were coming over for our annual Easter egg hunt but daughter's family all caught Covid. So postponed our plans. My wife went for a lagoon swim (she got bumped by a river otter) & I went for a long beach walk instead.

Thanks E, I think they will be fine, just lousy timing.

On Sunday, we return to seasonal average temps of mid-40s overnight and mid-60s during the day. But for now, however, we'll continue enjoying mid- to late-May weather.

Never been there, but have looked at the satellite pictures to see what the runoffs and obstructions looked like to see if the track would be useable for larger vehicles. (It isn't.)
I had 20+ years of sports car driving events under my helmet before my mean doctors forced me into medical retirement from all competitions. My one and only time driving a kart was in a private event at GPNY many moons ago, and I stopped after just one session because I wasn't having fun. On the weather front, we set several record highs in our region today. The high at home per my weather station was 93.2 F, and our 80's F temps all week are normal for June-July.....

Taking the TREK to work this morning. Although I welcome the warmer weather, everything looks so dirty and finding a lot of poo alongside the road.
