I like the way this album shows Janis in a more sober way:
"Well, the fevers of the night, they burn an unloved woman Yeah, those red-hot flames try to push old love aside. A woman left lonely, she's the victim of her man, yes she is. When he can't keep up his own way, good Lord, She's got to do the best that she can, yeah! A woman left lonely, Lord, that lonely girl, Lord, Lord, Lord!" "Full Tilt Boogie Band was a Canadian rock band originally headed by guitarist John Till and then by Janis Joplin until her death in 1970. The band was composed of Till, pianist Richard Bell, bassist Brad Campbell, drummer Clark Pierson, and organist Ken Pearson.[1] " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_Tilt_Boogie_Band |

Badfinger's "Baby Blue" from their 1971 album Straight Up. A great song, I always loved it (and owned the album), but it got attention again in 2013 in the finale for the TV show Breaking Bad.

I downloaded a 24-bit high res version (FLAC) of this entire album and it's incredibly good not to mention sounds great on a decent setup.

Don't hate or judge me. Literally woke up with this in my head this morning. My head is dark, mysterious place. Even I, know nothing of it's darkness. I just do what it commands.
Yes, when people mention Sir Mix-A-Lot or Baby Got Back, this is what enters my mind. |

I've posted in other places then look to see and somebody else has posted at the same time, or a minute before or a minute after. It happens.

Brothertiger - Tropic of Cancer
Hey Murf993 I suggest you try giving this a run on your newly broken-in speakers. This along with a few others by this artist I posted recently. This whole album "Fundamentals Vol. II" is great. Actually "Fundamentals Volume I" is really good as well.
If you listen to these tracks in the original 24-bit 48kHz FLAC files it's eargasm time IMHO. You can find this artist on the Bandcamp website which is where I download quite a bit of music. These are extremely high quality tracks and very reasonably priced. https://brothertiger.bandcamp.com/al...mentals-vol-ii |
