No longer going to Puerto Rico cuz of the gov't shutdown. Anyone have any feedback on Dominican Rep?

I thought the shutdown was just government jobs including schools. Probably wouldn't affect the touristy stuff or normal jobs. I was there during the gas strike last year, boy was that mayhem though. We made it to the airport on fumes.

I can imagine. We just booked 7 days at St Lucia tonight.

In July fly to Munich and pick up my 330i

Spend 2 days in Munich

Then hit the road: Zurich, Lake Como, Milan, Monte Carlo, Nice (3 days), Barcelona, Valencia (3 days), and Madrid (4 days).
Drop car in Madrid and fly back to Los Angeles.

I have 1.5 hr in my Pilot Book.
I have more then 10,000 hr in MS Flight Sim.
I can land F-14 or F-18 on fly deck.
I can fly cross country on B737/B747/B777.... on my computer.

Thats over a year on flight sim. We have a joke about students like you that show up and are like "I can do this shit. I have 300 hrs in the 737 in Microsoft Flight Sim".
