Man, this will kill the value of the 718 GTS if true....

A 400hp Cayman will be a straight out the box track demon

I'm already trying to get my allocation. Once he said GT3 engine I was sold. Also it's already testing on the green hell.

another rumor of a new car spec became reality especially if you take a closer look of recent Porsche engines line up for what it can be.. looking forward to see the new GT4..

I don’t think it would displace the GTS since it’s really a hotter version of the S for slightly more money. You will have to be committed to buying a Cayman if you want the GT4 since the pricing will undoubtedly be in 911 pricing. There are already several posts on the various Porsche forums asking whether to buy a 911 or a GTS since at the top end of the GTS you are touching a base 911 price wise.

Lots of the previous gen GT4s are for sale and typically hover around the high $90 to low $100k mark but only because there is currently no follow on to it. I suspect the new GT4 will be in the $110-130k range.

Me personally, I’m very happy with my base Boxster. Yes I could get a faster version but I’d pay twice as much.
