You can almost get a real lift for that price.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

For $1000 i think its worth it. Goes 8" higher than a quickjack. I would grab it if I were local to it!

A guy I know had his car up on a jack system similar to that; when they started to let it down only one side dropped, and they spent 3 hours getting the car down. Dunno if it was this specific vendor, or model. But the story gave me pause.
