Cutting the cord, how to get F1?
I'm trying to dump my cable and go with Hulu/HBO/Netflix instead (savings of $100/month)
But I can't figure out how to get F1? That would be a deal breaker for me. Anyone has done this or can tell me how to go about it? |

I'm currently using Apple TV, and the NBC Sports App carries the races, but I'm not sure if they're live. I usually end up watching the replay.

unless you willing to sacrifice quality and reliability (not that cable has any anyways), online streaming link for skysportsf1. but very unreliable.
I only use it to supplement the commentating while watching NBC with DirecTV.

Oops you're right, you'll have to bum a user name/pw from a friend that has cable already, which is what I did.

Ha, this is literally the ONLY reason I can't get rid of cable. I feel it's getting close though!!

I have a friend who travels a lot and uses a VPN service (HOLA) to stream BBC F1 broadcasts. Many VPNs allow you to select which country you want your computer to appear to be located in so he uses the VPN service to make his computer appear to be located in the UK, allowing him to access the BBC's F1 broadcast. I don't think its in real time though - there is a delay before they post it on the internet.

KODI media player with the sportsdevil plugin.
I watched last weekends race on that and it was a perfect picture quality for the whole race whilst watching SKY F1. The media player is free and then just type into google 'how do you watch sky f1 on kodi', or any other channel you want for that matter, to bring up all the pages describing how you set that up. Works great for me in the UK, not sure if you need to use a vpn if your watching in another country. |

Try motrotrend.com video service. It claims to have ALL racing. I watch DTM on it when Velocity shits the bed.
