You know, I've always been fascinated by "hangover cures" due to the fact that there are so many of them and everybody has a very particular one which they will argue til they are blue in the face is the best solution. Hydration, greasy food, pho, various OTC medications, more booze, etc... My girlfriend swears by pickle juice. It makes me wonder how much of it is the placebo effect in many cases. Biologically speaking hydration is the answer but I've seen people come back 180 degrees after using their preferred cure, whatever it may be.
I don't get hangovers often but when I do I usually just weather the storm. |
