Porsche 997 GT3 -Interesting Read
I am in the market for a new Porsche and I have been debating on a few years especially 2008 997. Main purpose is to use it for the track. By Buddy at the dealership sent this to me. I plan having the car built somewhere else but this article had me like WTFF

always internet horror stories, the thing I dont understand is the buyer seems like a competent guy, how he bought it sight unseen/undriven is beyond me unless he got an amazing deal.
It seems like either he was very trusting and didnt do his homework...? I dunno |

Yikes what a shoddy build lol. And to think LTMW cut up Ferraris and GTRs

Isn't this Long Tran's business? Disappointing to see how abysmal the build quality is. I've already seen this on multiple large forums, so this will definitely be bad publicity for LTMW, and rightfully so.

Nothing new here.
The overwhelming majority of "built" cars you see at SEMA or in snazzy photo shoots on the Internet are complete piles of crap. It's more a story about the demographic of people who go about building them, be it car owner and/or shop owner. |

Maybe not the ideal track candidate but my friend is selling his 2010 Targa 4s. Feel free to PM if interested.

Liberty Walk just put up an M4 for sale. You can see it in the "BMW M3 (F80) and BMW M4 (F82) General Forum".
I wonder if this GT3 was a one time thing or this is what they normally do. |

I wouldn't be surprised it is was built the same way. Its a newer car so hopefully it was built somewhat right. $120k? who ever buys it has to check the work.

This is why these crazy modded cars look good in photos only...
Good from far but far from good.

Well I just hope that the new 997 owner will get things straighten out. Its a shame after all these years it boils down to this. Things started to take a major dump after Ivan left. Crazy thing is if I go to LTMW I know my car wont get down right. Go to Ivan I know it will. Worked on my F80 and no issues what to ever.
On a good note...Found the right GT3 I was looking for. Possibly going to buy it today.
