Yeah, you know I googled it and read that too, on their web page.
So it is apparently it is a new block, heads, everything. Crazy stuff. I wonder if it has the same 98mm bore spacing as other BMW V8s (or maybe not, maybe that is per rules, and that's why the need for a new engine). I also wonder what the bore and stroke are (are they dictated by the rules, or is it up to each OEM to decide?). |
