- GT Motoring - Official F80 M3 / F82 M4 BBS Wheels Gallery and Fitment Guide

- GT Motoring - Official F80 M3 / F82 M4 BBS Wheels Gallery and Fitment Guide

As usual, BBS wheels will make sure they have great fitments for the new F8X BMW M3. We will be keeping a full fitment and photo log of these on the M3 and M4 for you guys here.

We should be able to have details of what will be able to fit here in the next 2 weeks or so as cars are made available here. In addition to wheel fitment we will try to also include tire fitment and suggestions when possible.

GT Motoring will also be making CAD drawings for wheel fitment templates and will make this available here so customers can check caliper clearance on any wheels they are looking at. We will make templates for both standard and optional carbon ceramic brakes.

Keep an eye out here for more details daily!

Should have some pics and fitment options loaded Sunday night or Monday.

Wheel fitment template for caliper clearance should be done a few days later

We'll be updating the thread with some BBS fitments we found to fit well and also other notes that will help you guys select the best wheels. Since the F8X M3/4 already comes out of the wrapper with a big brake kit selecting 18 in wheels will of course take some additional measuring. Some of the current 18in E92 M3 offerings will fit, but only on stock size tires since the offsets don't match the new car as well.

I was hoping for 265/35 and 285/35 with the BBS CH-R in 9.5/10.5.
No chance of that working?

Looking forward to the wheel fitment template. Thanks GTM!

Would like to see some 18" wheel options!
When people start modding their M3s they will soon be kicking themselves why they got 19/20" wheels. No traction

BBS is currently working on making an F80/F82 specific FI fitment.

Right now the BBS RI-D wheel ( same design but made with duralumin ) is available that fits. It's a 19x9/19x10 fitment so stock size tires can be used no problem.

The 285 rear on the 10.5 rear is SUPER close. If the car is lowered it should just fit. The Pilot Super Sport has a more rounded corner than the 285 bridgestone we tested so that would be a better choice. No problem to use the 265 up front. Plenty of room.

So if one was planning to use a 295/30/19, would it safe to assume the offsets would need to be ET30-35mm with a 19x10.5 wheel?

Pilot Super Sport you would want a 35mm rear for sure since that tire is VERY WIDE for its size

Basically, only Stock tire sizes can be used if you are going to use the off the shelf FI sizes made for the E9X M3.

We are currently trying to see about getting some of the Japanese made BBS RI-D wheels which are 19x9/19x10 sizes and have offsets that fit much better and is the same design as the FI, and even lighter!

Will the RI-Ds need spacers? Seems like while the FI offsets are too aggressive, the RI-D offsets seem a little conservative.

The width is conservative on the RI-D, but the offsets are actually very good for a nice flush fitment with even a little room for wider tires.

I see there is a 10" +35 RI-D. Would that fit in the front? If not, is there a 10" that would?

Additional width would be nice but flush fitment is most important to me. Great to hear. Thanks!

We have additional photos coming soon. Photos were just references for models and what fits since people were asking for that data first.

This is meant to be an ongoing and growing thread over time to collect data and photos specific for the F8X M cars
