M performance side skirt decals

Does anyone know if the black m performance side skirt decals just go right on the car as is or do you need some sort of other m performance skirt for it to stick on?

It states on the website that the side skirt decals go with the m performance side skirts. I don't think its for the original skirts the car comes with.

This means if you have a 228i, you need to buy the side skirts. The m performance side skirts are standard on the m235i.

Does anyone have a picture of these side skirt decals applied, without the additional side stripe decals along the body crease? I have seen pictures of the side skirt decals, but always with the side stripes, so just wanted to see what it looks like with the rocker panel skirt decals by themselves.

The parts manager at my local dealer is a good friend of mine and he seems to think that the MP rocker panel decal can be made to work on a 228. He's going to order one and we're going to play with it and see what can be done and whether it can be modified, if necessary, to fit without the side skirts.

I think the add on skirts just bolt to the bottom of the existing ones...like the front lip bolts to the bottom of the bumper. Then you apply the stickers to the current rockers
