Muffler shop

Any recommendations for a good and trustworthy muffler shop in the bay area? Preferably closer to 95117/95051 (San Jose/Santa Clara)

Wanting to get a muffler delete done.

I can help you out with that. Our shop has all the equipment to do any exhaust setup. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Thanks y'all. Yeah I know of speed element as I got my car's fender rolling there.

How much should a typical muffler delete cost? Do you guys recommend it or what are the thoughts on it?

Too much rattling from the tips/exhaust itself or just the loud noise makes things inside the car rattle? I heard the sound and rode with another forum member who has done a muffler delete, earlier this month and it was subtle yet had a good roar to it when the engine was revved.

Hmmm this makes me think now!

You can hear it badly inside the vehicle when you rev around 2500-3000 RPM. I mean the sound is bad ass but other than that its not worth it.

I payed 60 for mine when I got it, I came from an STI and missed the sound but if you're not used to it it'll be weird because the bmw is fairly quiet from inside the cabin.

Where did you get yours done? I checked with one shop close to where I live and he quoted $120 with tips.

So I have finalized that I am going to go with a muffler delete on my 2009 328i E90 LCI sedan. I have the stock setup right now, which is the dual tips on one side. For the muffler delete I need to buy the dual tips on a y Pipe (no, I am not looking to go with 1 tip on each side).

Any idea's where I can buy it from? I would like to have a color similar to the stock (brushed titanium/aluminium). The muffler shop has one but they are steel colored/chrome colored and I don't prefer those.

Any suggestions on where can I buy them from?

I got mine done at golden auto in Daly City but you can also go to San Francisco same shop. If yelp matters they got 4.5 stars. Literally went in and got my car back in 30min I already owned tips so it was only 60 but yeah its $110 with tips buy they don't really have any good ones. I suggest ordering tips online so you get what you really want. I'm fine with chrome, wish I did black but didn't want it too look like a black cut out lol I want to be able to see the tips at night.
