Pairing issues with my new V9m

Is it simply just a software update? It shows paiered for a second and then does not connect. Any help is appreciated.

maybe you should try resetting/deleting the connections you had before. did you check if the phone is compatable?

haven't spoken to you for a long time. what new mods have you done? you got the eisenhaus masterchiefs?

I did try deleting and resetting and everything else. Nothing seems to work. Apparently, the phone is compatible.

I have an Eisenmann on the car. Nothing else since you saw it.

I'm not very familiar with the CDMA phones, but I can take some guesses...

Did you reset the phone, or just the car? Sometimes a master-reset and/or master-clear on the phone (under "Initial Setup" in the menu, usually) will fix up weirdo behaviors like this. Beware, though, it'll nuke your phone book.

If that doesn't help, can you pair with anything else? Do you have a headset? Does the connection drop right away? If you connect during a call can you hear audio through the car before the link drops?

When you get a connect...pause...disconnect it usually means the phone received a BT command it doesn't know how to handle and bailed, or timed out waiting for a response. I really doubt the former happened, and I don't think I've ever seen the latter unless A2DP is involved. Plain ol' HFP is pretty reliable.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the same problem.

My V9m pairs, connects, and then disconnects right away. Could you tell me if you ever resolved this problem?
