Enhanced USB and bluetooth plus Smartphone integration

Can anyone explain what this option does? Will it work 100% if I don't get the technology package? Is it worth $500?

Don't waste your $$

It allows you to stream bluetooth audio and allows for an in-center-console creadle which is pointless.

I can code your enhanced bluetooth back on for no charge ($500 savings), as long as you have a combox as part of your electronics package.

What options are you planning on ordering on your 2er?

Stop offering this publicly. Just PM people. You're hurting the entire coding community, because you're offering to hurt BMW's bottom line, which means they will fight back.

Respectfully, so few people actually get coded it is no different than a speaker guy offering better speakers publicly. I see know problem with the offer.

Because replacing the speakers is aftermarket. That doesn't hurt BMW's bottom line.

2 series will stream music over Bluetooth as long as you have the large sat nav anyway. No coding necessary. Enhanced Bluetooth gives you office (phone text on screen)

Yes ...BMW is going to completely re-engineer how their ECUs are coded to make sure people spend $500 ... Personally I opt for everything in my cars from the factory ... But simply letting people know it is a waste of money ... You already have the hardware ... Just flip the switch in the software.

You are an idiot ... If you don't want my help ... Then don't take it .. Don't be a little puss pouting around

BMW coding has been around the forums for decades now ... I'm sure this post is gonna bring the whole damn thing crashing down ... What a vag!

The value of the snap in adapter/cradle has been widely debated. This post has a good overview of what the snap in offers over the standard interface. Personally, I wouldn't buy a BMW without the snap in adapter function, but think I might be in the minority judging by other's comments.

Garage List
Does the cradle / snap-in option only support iPhone or does it also support Android phones (micro USB connector)?

Thanks!
