Does anyone have recommendations on a reliable and reasonably priced parts source for a front axle?

I need to replace my front left and I'd rather not buy from the dealer!!

For my previous vehicle, a AWD C Class I've had amazing luck with FEQ Axles perform just like the stock axles ran them for over 150000KM, tracked with them as well and they held up amazingly.

For your vehicle this is one of the places I could find them being sold.

I haven't tried them on my E90 so can't give feedback from that aspect.

Be careful with parts geek. I looked into them for an axle as well, they have some pretty bad reviews. I just received and put in an axle from carpartkings.com it was a temanufactured one, but it was only 70 bucks if you send back the old one. So far so good.

Rockauto.com or Amazon have the best shipped prices around. Rockauto is in NYC so shipping is very quick.

If you want quality pick a TIMKIN bearing, they are widely regarded as the best.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting a new axle from the dealer. They knocked some $$ off of it.

If I ever need to replace the other side or have another XI needing an axle I think I'm going to give one of the off brands a try.
