Holy balls Batman! KW V3 FTW!!!
Hey guys,
I picked up a set of KW V3's from a fellow member and just had them installed. Holy shit! Greatest day of my life! I had no idea that I could go so low with the xDrive. Perhaps it's because I'm still on stocker 17's. Handling is amazing, and the car looks so much better! Huge shout out to the boys at ACI Dynamix!! Scraping is very much a thing now Here's some crappy iPad pics: Homeboy Chris_Rav caught me riding dirty on my first day low |

how far did you adjust the collars..? you must be at the lowest possible.. did you cut the bumpstops..? if you didnt and youre that low you must be nocking on them all the time.. or pretty much sitting on them.. |

Pretty much all the way down. I did not touch the bumpstops; they are fully intact. I've hit some pretty big bumps, and have had no issues with banging the bumpstops. Smooth sailing all around! |

but the collar will adjust lower.. according to their warranty.. if you are dropped beyond their recommended 1.8", the warranty is void if strut fails.. |

I got the V1's and my car is pretty slammed. It sits about the same as OP's car. I thought about getting the V3's but found that the V1's are adjusted perfectly and realistically, once the V3's would have been set, I would have never messed with them, which is why i bought the V1's for half the price.

Hell yeah. Loving my V3's. Put em on myself a few weeks ago. Transformation! Car is on rails. So glad I made the move...only wish if done it sooner!
Congrats. |
