I had the g4 and on map 5 I would get 17lbs with e85. And now with the g5 I only get 13-14lbs. I have the same exact mods. The only thing is that I have 10 set to 800rpm and 12 set to 1000rpm. The car takes longer to spool up but the wastegate rattle is gone. Shouldnt I be getting the same boost?

How on earth are you guys setting 12 to anything lower than 2000? Mine will not set to anything below 2000. It will just reset to the default if i do. Heck it even specifically states it only works from values of 2000-3200.

As to your question it'll boost what it feels it can boost. It'll keep getting higher and higher to a point. You need to do 3 hard pulls in 3rd gear from ~1500-redline and then it'll be ready to go and boosting what it feels it can. From what i've heard the G4 would boost a little higher than the G5. But the G5 seemed to be smoother and overall a bit faster.

I just don't know how you get it to stick. I can go ahead and choose 1, but it won't stick. The lowest i can choose and it will actually keep the value is 2.

Even states this in his guide on his getting started thread.
