Are there spacers on your car??

We have the exact same color and exterior mods, but yours looks to have a wider stance.

I'm gonna plasti my rims on my MG 228. saw it on another thread and looks phenomenal.

for the painted reflector mod, is yours black? in other mods I've seen it looks invisible almost but can seem to notice the outline on your car more.

Plasti dip them! If they don't turn out you are only out $40 plus labor time. Black is your theme so they will turn out nice if you do it in very thin coats and shoot them no more than 15 minutes a part each coat.

Sure the new wheels will be nice, but the expense of doing it would have to be well worth the cost.

+1 what's the worst that can happen? Maybe do 1 or 1 side of the car so you can check it out and have less to peel off if you hate it.

Me personally, unless you want to vomit every time you look at your wheels, why not wait until you need to replace them or at least the tires then do wheels at the same time? You're bound to bend or scrape one or something. I just feel like you've gotta really hate them to spend a bunch of $ when the ones you've got are perfectly fine and may in fact grow on you. How about some nice black Enkei CSL reps for a winter set? You'll still get the look you want and be getting something functional as opposed to a purely cosmetic.

Check your policy some, I have been told, cover winter wheels and tires. Don't see how this would be any different unless you're doing something completely insane that's $5k a corner and out of the scope of what most reasonable people would consider normal.

Just plasti dipped the stock wheels on my M sport 228i and it made a huge difference on the overall look of the car. I'll post pics later today.
