Why does the H&R front sway bar not fit 335xi
According to multiple sites, the front bar fits 325Xi and 328Xi. Has someone actually tried fitting the front bar to a 335? Is the suspension geometry different? Is it because its such a marginal upgrade of .5 mm ?
Thanks! |

That's incorrect. The i and xi front sways are a different configuration. UUC is the only company I know of that makes the front for the xi. Good luck getting one from them. Worst customer service ever...

The XI bar has to have a larger half loop shape on each end to clear the front axles.
I think the confusion for 325/328Xi's came from an early mistake in H&R inventory listing sent out to online vendors. Like everything on the web, it never goes away 100%. It was true until very recently that UUC made the only aftermarket front bar for an XI, at least that I'm aware of. It is a nice upgrade, have one on my car. |
