getting a pretty bad misfire on cyl 3, coils seem to be in working order. going to replace the injector tmr, problem is i go into work at 3pm, my friend has INPA but wont be out of work till 6. my plan was to put in the injector before work drive to work and have him code in the parking lot. the car already runs like crap, so if its not in perfect running order i dont mind on the way to work but i dont want it damaging anything. could this be harmful ?

Replace the injector, and you can drive uncoded, just drive conservatively!

I had to do the same thing and had no issues. You'll be fine.

Drove for over 3 months before coding. No issues here.

You'll be fine. I drove for about 6 months uncoded. Dealer replaced injectors,.but forgot to do that step. I only discovered after I used a bt cable.
