jb4 install help! car won't start

hey so a buddy of mine finally got around to throwing a jb4 in his n54. its an e92. But anyway the car won't start it just cranks, also the traction light is on. I've looked at car myself but my experience is more with the n55 so can anyone check out the picture of his setup below and possibly find a fault. UPDATED! : the orange connector on the right side does indeed have a particular spot that it plugs into, it is under the dme connector. My friend must of pulled it out by accident as he was removing the ecu cover or something, at any rate car is working great with the jb4 now.

1. there are no bent male pins
2. the power wire seems to be set up properly
3. from what I understand the sub connectors could be in wrong spots but we have double checked them

any help would be appreciated thanks

Shouldn't the connector on the very top right corner of the picture be hooked up somewhere?

he swears it was like that when he first opened up the ecu box and he also checked the dme connector there is no spot for it .. I'm not sure what it's even for just to note he is a non x-drive

I'm sure it's supposed to be connected somewhere... I have a RWD n54 too, and this cable is connected somewhere...

Watch this video and you may be able to see where it is supposed to go.

awesome feedback! but Ive watched the video multiple times maybe it's just me but I can't pinpoint where it should be connected. my friend has checked the dme connector and says there is no place for it and it was already disconnected but do you think you could trace where it's connected
