Wedge flash review
Thought I would take a quick second to review my experience with the Wedge flash. About me 2007 FBO E90 stock turbos HFS meth kit running 11 gal E85 to 5 93 octane for E60 blend.
Here is some data the times are from the last time I was at the track. The logs are from today. I am at 101000k yes over a 100k miles and car is still a beast with his flash. Thought the posted results would be easier than anything I could write. |

Amazing numbers, good driving man.
Shout out to wedge as well, he does good work and is very helpful. I'm lucky enough to live near him and he is a good guy. I buy him lunch all the time for you guys. Last edited by Miller335; 04-29-2014 at 10:50 PM.. |

This is a wedge log at 120,000+ and I am turning it up to 21-22 instead of the 19.

Can you explain a little more? I'm now at the point where my car is basically done with the power mods (jb4, dp, ic, cp/bov, new plugs and walnut blast, etc). I'm probably going to leave the jb4 on map 1 for right now as I've heard autotune can end up doing some nasty things to engines over time, and I don't have the 93RM available in CA that map 2 requires.
What I'd really like to do is get a good tune for 91 and my mod package, since I'll be leaving it at this point for a while. Can anybody explain where I go from here? Is there a off-the-shelf tune for these basic mods I can load in map 6, or should I be finding someone to dyno tune me a custom program? I'd also heard to get the wedge backend flash if I want to start running e85 mixes, si that the same thing or something different? |
