I have pro nav and used to setup a split screen with a traffic map on the right zoomed to 5 miles and the normal navigation map on the left, zoomed in to whatever I want. I picked up my car from the dealer today after having my bonnet repaired (after being keyed earlier this year) and the dealer has also updated the car's software and maps to 2014-1. I used to do this by knocking the idrive right whilst the right hand side was active and selecting traffic information mode but I can't see that option anymore.

Am I going mad or has this functionality been removed?

It's there however marked in a different way. It's color coded now rather than showing you some arrows like before. So now I can see green line, yellow and red. It also gives me warnings like f.ex. Broken down vehicle within 2 mls etc , showing exact location, cool

I can't see any colours etc. How are you activating the traffic mode?

Worked it out... I think I'd just forgotten where the setting was after a week in a courtesy car.



The traffic view is at the bottom of the options for the right hand display...

It ceases to amaze me how many more things I keep finding out about this Pro Media system.
