New 330d F31 MSport ordered!

Signing today for my new 330d! Like lots of folk on this forum I've come to appreciate the 6 cylinder diesel as quite a special power unit in terms of refinement and of course power. And loved the sport auto coming from a 320d manual in the current car. This will be my first auto. Here is my spec.

330d MSport F31
Mineral Grey
Black Dakota
Adaptive MSport suspension
Pano sun roof
Xenons
Harmon Kardon
Comfort Pack
Reversing Camera
Heated front seats

I was originally going for MSport Plus but dropped it at the last minute because I just don't like sun protection glass. Personal preference. So I'm sacrificing the 19" 403's and blue brakes and saving myself £500, but couldn't let go of the xenons nor HK. I really prioritise a smooth ride and I'm hoping the 18's with adaptive will be optimum (or is this me just trying to convince myself 18's are better then 19's because I'm not getting the 19's?! Because the 19's are pretty on the car but slightly firmer ride and more expensive to refurb when the inevitable happens).

Thanks also to everyone for recommending TRL.

Any recommendations on where it is best to advertise my 320d F31 which I'm selling privately hopefully? Auto trader?

Welcome to the Jekyll and Hyde club...

I came from a 320d to my 330d so I just know you'll love it! Civilised and comfortable, then select 'Sport' and just grin!

M+ is fantastic value! I didn't want the tinted windows either. Though I couldn't argue against the sums... So, I added it yo my order. Having received the car I loved the tints. I've read comments saying that with the glass roof in the touring the car is still light and airy.

Have you got Xenons or the Visibility Pack? The dancing lights are amazing if you do any rural night driving.

Car sounds nice. I decided against M+ pack as I didn't want large diamond cut wheels again. What a PITA they are! But I still ordered SPG, HK, Dancing lights etc...I know it's good value but I just didn't want it.
I love the look/drive of 400M's anyway. And you will too

Great spec. But I would opt for the visibility pack over just plain xenons if you can afford it. Other than that enjoy the wait.

I didn't go for the visibility pack, just the Xenons. I thought hard about the adaptive lights and HBA but as I don't do much driving at night that is not on motorways or lit A roads I thought I'd leave visibility off the spec. Also, I quite like controlling the high beam ... gives me something to do on the A16 once I'm south of Boulogne - a frequent Friday night drive to French weekend hide-away:-) . One dealer told me that you have to switch adaptive lights to manual in France anyway(?).

I just read all the post about visibility pack and adaptive lights, then called the dealer to add VIS pack to my order.

He confirmed that you can't use adaptive in France, just switch to manual so no worse than not having it, with the benefits for UK driving. Worth 200 quid it seems.

I was originally not going to have it on mine, however it worked out cheaper per month and higher FV coupled with the msport+

Also everyone does comment on just how damn good it is, even a devout VW driver at work likes the auto dip function etc.

I am surprised it is not possible to code the lights to flip between lhd and rhd.

Nice car mate you will love the grey on the tourer, the windows look great tinted if im honest, I was parked next to a 320 without tints the other day and it looked strange, mine looked more stealthy. But that's my opinion its only aesthetics and the main thing is you have got the right engine. It really is awesome and gets better the more miles you put on it.
