4 Series GC ordered!

Hi there,

First time poster and first time BMW (soon to be owner)!

Ordered my 4 Series GC 320d Xdrive M Sport last week.

Mineral Grey with Coral Red interior....

Now the long hard wait for it to be delivered!

Anyone else in the same position?

Cheers,

BMW ABZ

I think you may have the first 4GC order on here. Congratulations.

Thanks, yeah took a bit of a gamble I suppose but test drove a few 4 series to decide on engines and spec. With two little kids the 4 doors and hatch back make more sense..

Every picture looks fantastic!

If it were available when I got my car I'd have given it some very serious consideration. I looked at the Audi A5 Sportback for a 5 door with style. Not a patch on a F3X to drive...

The 4GC seems to have got it just right. Sleeker and much more pleasing to my eyes than the 3GT.

Good luck with the wait...

PS, I may be jealous.

Yes that was my other problem - no deal whatsoever! Ah well what the hell, at least it will be quite scarce for a few months!

It will, even 2 door 4 series are very rare still!

And although it's more expensive than a 3 series you get a lot more standard equipment nav, xenons, powered bootlid, heated seats & front sensors! Plus electric seats on 3l cars.

Mind you there's no M Sport plus pack available.

Yes hopefully it will stay quite rare for a while and yes the standard spec is pretty high. The only additional extras I added were the Auto Box and the comfort pack (electric memory seats, sun glass, storage and adjustable armrest). The rest of the options to me seemed like fairly pricey 'nice to haves'..roll on end of June!

Congratulations on the order and welcome to the forum. IMHO the 4 GC is the best looking F3x car at the moment.

Cheers Gents, yes can't wait. With the winter weather in Aberdeen the rear wheel drive issue had always put me off a BMW, but with the Xdrive option now the GC became my favourite choice for the new car....6 weeks (ish) and counting...

Was one of reasons going for xdrive this time round, I tend to drive up to Aberdeen and to Elgin, Lossiemouth and Huntly any time from November to March.

Ordered mine at the end of March - 420d xDrive as well but in Alpine White/Black leather and 403M 19"s
Called the dealer today and they said that it's in production/build phase already but was previously told to expect delivery at the beginning of June..
Originally from UK but now living in Germany - planning to drive it back for a short summer break.
When are you expecting yours?

Similar story to yourself. Originally they told me it might not be until end of July early August but when I placed the order it is scheduled to start production first week in June. I think my dealer is hoping to get it delivered in time for their launch night at the end of June - fingers crossed!

Great choice - gets some pics up when you take delivery. I'm very tempted to upgrade in 18months time. I'm used to coupes but now need 4 doors so the GC ticks the boxes
