Unspeakable horrors within

Well if you're going to kerb a wheel you might as well do it properly. 3 weeks old and I could cry.

Feel for you... I know exactly how you feel, I did the exact same in mine when it was 1 week old...

I remember calling the dealer, and I was trying to get the car booked in ASAP. She was like, don't worry, we'll book it in for about 2 weeks. She got the details up and was like - oooo that's a new car! Booked it following day. Lol

About £80 lighter and wheel good as new. (although mine are the 18"s)

Yeah..... that's not the same.

19"s are diamond cut, and not easy/ cheap to repair.

Oh dear that looks well kerbed, not sure what your options are with the 19's, I've heard they are difficult to bring back good as new, you will have to keep us posted

I kerbed the 335d about 4 days before taking it back for a part x and I was still really unhappy even though it wasn't even my car anymore, the saleman didn't care and said it would only cost them £60 to fix it, but I still felt bad, it made a horrible noise when I did it.
Just like to add a new rear wheel is about £420 with a 20% discount if it bothers you that much, I know it would me

I'll speak to the dealer when they open on Wednesday. There's a local place that has a good reputation and can fix the diamond cut wheels called nu luk wheels but not cheap and will need the wheel for three or four days. Lack of a spare is a slight problem.

Felt a fool as i didnt even know the dealer would or could fix it.

Dealers just outsource them to a local alloy refurb company (unless it's superficial damage they can do themselves).

Ouch, diamond cut 19's as well. Very unlucky.
Get a new wheel, might be cheaper than fixing it!

Yeah. A lot of the local dealers use this company. I assume they would get a better rate anyway

Just viewed a few refurb websites, and the ones quoting, we're about £100-120 per wheel compared to £80-100 for normal alloys.

So not much difference.

Really unlucky, and know you must feel gutted.

Took a chunk out my n/side front avoiding a woman on her phone. Then did the same to the o/side front courtesy of a pothole. Both times had the dealer fix it - £75 + VAT per wheel and they've done a nice job.

They look pretty naff to me! And almost as much as an alloy repair! I'd rather take the risk that i might damage one, and the good chance that i won't and save the £60
