New car protection
Sorry for another diy detailing related thread.
I have a tub of Collonite 476 I have used on my previous car and my wifes new car, its very good, the protection seems to last for ages, even in Aberdeen's sometimes harsh winters the car cleans up really well and i still get good beading... but the detailing geek in me wants to give Werkstat acrylic a try on my new alpine white F30 (when i eventually get it) I will prep the car as best i can myself, dealer has been intructed to leave the car as is and not wash. Has anyone else used Werkstat acrylic ? |

I think that's the same as Carlack sealant. Pretty sure it's just another brand name. Easy on, easy off product. Apply as thin as possible. I then added wax on top and am very pleased.

Sealants glassy look will be great on the aw, I've not tried this one but just for the hell if it I put ag egp, wax and fk1000p on each third of the bonnet of a white loaner I had just to see, all looked good but the sealants looked the best. I tried to photo it but you couldn't really tell you had to see it in the metal.
