Radar Detector

So, where is everyone mounting their radar detector and where are you getting your power feed?

I run the Escort 9500. Its a bit old, but it does the job.

I don't typically speed, but I've gotten tickets before doing 75 on the highway so it helps lol.

I setup an Escort Passport Max mounted just lest of the iDrive screen right above the dash.
Running the wire to the dash was easy enough, and there is enough gap between the dash and the A-pillar cover to sneak the wire in and be completely hidden.
I know many like to mount it high, I prefer mine low and is what is advised for laser detection (even though that is kind of BS, but whatever).
I used the smart cord installation and mounted the smart box on the right of the steering column, and removed the paneling under the drivers side and tapped the switched 12v+ of my reverse camera module (or that's what it seemed to indicate).
It works very well, I will attach some pictures if they may be of help.
